Agree the project requirements
Confirm the proposed layout, system specification and installation programme with your supplier. Make sure any site-specific requirements are discussed before delivery or assembly begins.
Coordinate access and working areas
Discuss delivery access, unloading arrangements and the installation area. If the warehouse remains operational, agree how work areas and normal operations will be separated. Your installation team should advise on the arrangements for your project.
Share relevant site information
Tell your installer about building constraints, floor information, access restrictions and other trades working on site. Avoid assuming an existing layout or building condition will be suitable without assessment.
Plan the handover
Agree what checks and information will be provided before the system is brought into use. Keep the relevant specifications and operating information available to the people managing your warehouse.
